The retreat officially starts with orientation at 5 pm Friday, October 9 and ends Sunday, October 22 at 2 pm. We highly encourage you to arrive at least a day earlier so that you start retreat fresh. Also, that you stay at least a day longer to more fully integrate your retreat before rushing back into daily life. 8 Agreements

Agreement to Terms *	I am aware of and agree to the cancellation policy terms:We will apply the following cancellation policy to any bookings made except for the Karma Yoga Service Stay Program. If you cancel with 60 days or more notice, we will keep a processing fee of 15%. If you cancel with 15 days to 59 days ahead of time, we will keep a cancellation fee of 50%. The remainder of any fees paid can be refunded or kept as a credit on your account for up to one year from the cancellation date. After one year any unused or unclaimed fees will be forfeited. No credits or refunds: If you cancel with 14 days notice or less there will be no credit or refund of any fees paid. If you have to cancel because of extenuating circumstances beyond your control, then Clear Sky will refund 50% of the payment.
I am aware that a residential retreat is a big and wonderful commitment. We will be living in and sharing a meditative environment for an extended amount of time. I can confirm that I am fit and able to participate during this retreat. *

9 Dāna Awareness

Awareness of Dāna / Pay-from-the-heart *	I am aware that the accommodation and course cost does not include fees for the teachers and that the dāna (or pay-from-the-heart) model is what supports the teachers to offer the classes and teachings. The practice of dāna is a mutual exchange of generosity and abundance between teachers and students. Dāna is a Sanskrit and Pali word meaning “generosity” or “giving,” and is always discretionary. Through our cultivation of dāna, we leave habitual states of mental poverty behind and steadily grow a reality of psychological, spiritual and thus material richness. By practicing with a healthy spirit of generosity, we deepen our own practice and support teachers to make these healing teachings and tools available to all. By offering material and other kinds of dāna with an open heart, everyone benefits, particularly the giver. Dāna is an active, conscious and powerful spiritual practice.
